The league coordinating committee will make every attempt to ensure that the field of play is in an acceptable condition to play our games and practices.
The criteria for cancelling a game or practice include:
- Extreme weather conditions that make playing unsafe (i.e. extreme high winds, extreme heat, flooding)
- Weather conditions that make the field of play unsafe
On the day of a game, if there is rain or other less than ideal weather conditions, the coordinating committee will make a decision between 4pm-6pm to determine whether the game will be played or if it will be cancelled. This may include sending one member of our committee to scout out the diamond.
You will be contacted by one of your team captains. Please await their response.
Light rain or other minor weather conditions will not necessarily be a reason to cancel unless the field is in poor condition.
